A little date help please

I’m so confused with dates and would appreciate any advice…

my LMP was 17.07.24
my first BFP was 7.9.24

I was testing weekly after the missed period in August (with the exception of 1st sept as was on holiday) and had negatives right up until this date.

My periods are a regular 28 day cycle usually.

How far along would you think I’d be? Due date calculators say 8 weeks, however it just doesn’t add up with the BFP. Can this happen?

Im due to meet the midwife next week, I guess I’m just really nervous about dates, I’ve had 2 previous miscarriages and failed IVF, this is a complete shock! (A welcome one!)

From your LMP, yes you'd be 8 weeks but that is a guide only until you get a dating scan.

LMP was 2 weeks out for me for example as I had a long cycle that month and ovulated late.
