Hi, so I am a first time mum. I am 22 years old. I have had a miscarriage in May and I am pregnant now ain’t with my rainbow baby. Today I had a scan at 11 weeks and 3 days. Since the miscarriage I’m really cautious about a lot of things and tend to dig too deep into things. So when at the scan I had realised that some photos of my babies head looks normal but then some don’t. Could someone tell me if I should be worried? In my eyes it looks like it could me not developed properly or something. I know it could also be the angle of the baby, fluids ect. I’m just worried and I know it’s probably nothing but just need some opinions… the nurse hasn’t pointed anything out about this and said it’s healthy. Thank you🙏🏼

Hi OP, I'm unsure why you wouldn't believe the Nurse that baby is healthy but seek advice from people on Mumsnet instead? If the medics say baby is healthy then take the reassurance from them, that you're baby is doing well 💛

I get you can overthink OP, I've had a MC too and can certainly fall into panic mode quite quickly! These scans look beautiful and most importantly, if the medical professionals said everything looked fine right now, it will be! Try to rest assured they wouldn't lie to you if there was something wrong 💛

It isn’t developed properly, because you’re only 11 weeks pregnant.

Your baby is still tiny at this stage and just starting to develop.
If there were concerns, you would be told about them
