Brown on toilet paper - worried

Currently 5+6 pregnant with my first, and for the last two days I’ve had a tinge of brown on the toilet paper when I wipe.

It’s got a bit darker since yesterday. I don’t have any cramping but I did have bad cramping early this week which I had a doctors appointment for and they said it’s probably fine.

My boobs continue to be really sore and my pregnant tests are still positive (pic of today’s attached).

I’m really worried but struggling to find info online. Any advice?

I don’t even think I’d have noticed that to be honest. I’ve had proper brown and red spotting at some point in the first trimester in all 4 pregnancies, 3/4 were completely fine.
It’s anxiety provoking however you do just need to chill out as there’s nothing worrying about it can change at this point. I personally wouldn’t be concerned unless there was more spotting / bleeding and cramps alongside.
your cervix could be sensitive too so stop poking around checking for spotting bf when you wipe and what will be will be. It’s going to be a long 9 months if you are constantly on the look out for trouble.

The above comment is extremely unhelpful. Like yourself I’ve worried massively at every aspect of pregnancy. I have had bleeding that has resulted in miscarriage and bleeding that has been absolutely fine and no cause could be found. It was recommended when I was spotting/bleeding to take it easy and do limited tasks. You cannot help but worry no matter what you do to distract yourself and unfortunately some people do not understand that anxiety. At 5 weeks the EPU recommend you wait a week and take a pregnancy test, only when my test was still positive would they see me to confirm things were okay. I have also been told brown blood is a good sign as it is old blood, around 5 weeks the baby continues to bury itself deeper into the lining of your womb and everything is extra sensitive. I really hope it stops soon for you and you manage to have a stress free pregnancy! Xx
