Log burner

Hi everyone,

I am 9 weeks pregnant. This weekend me and my partner have been staying in an air b and b and using the log burner. I did not even think until after that this may be a problem. The first few times logs were added, I helped and probably breathed in the smoke and carbon monoxide. After this I stood by the window and he did it.

I am now really paranoid as Google says to avoid log/ wood burners all together when pregnant. Would the fumes of two evenings have done anything to baby? I am really worried, especially after helping him at the start.

Thank you!

Pretty sure every one with a coal fire prior to the 80s weren't doing themselves any favours by modern standards - I think you'll be just fine after a couple of nights, don't worry.
