Swallowed a drop of optrex eye wash help !

So long story short I had to wash my eye out last night so i went to the pharmacy and they had recommended the optrex eye wash and said that it is ok during pregnancy as there is no known cases of it negatively impacting the pregnancy. While I was using it I could feel it trickle into my sinus I completely forgot your eyes and nose and throat are connected !! So I probably swallowed maybe a drop or two of it completely by mistake !! I got so freaked out that I started vomiting 🤮 I feel ok but I’m just worried about my baby💔 I’m 22 weeks pregnant. “Isotonic buffered solution with HPMC and PHMB” these are the ingredients if I had remembered that eyes nose and throat are connected i wouldn’t have used it !! I have an appointment for my daughter on Monday in two days so I will mention it there also. Anyone with any advice on what I should do ?

You'll be fine, it's considered safe in pregnancy. We are exposed to chemicals of varying types every day and give little thought to them.

Do absolutely nothing, it's fine.

Optrex manufacturers would never make anything for our eyes which would be harmful if a few drops were swallowed or leaked down the back of your throat.
I use dry eye drops several times a day. I can often taste them in my throat if I overdo it.
Pregnant or not, stop panicking.
