Terrified of my NT scan at 12 weeks - I think I see I big fluid patch on 8 week scan

I am absolutely terrified that the NT scan will show abnormal results. I got a scan at 8 weeks and it went well and family family doctor said everything looked good. However, I am looking at it closely and I am fairly certain I see quite a large spot of fluid around the neck and I am freaking out!

What are your thoughts on this photo? It is over a week until my scan! And I did read a study that showed NT can be pretty accurately measured at 8-9 weeks.

That 8 week scan photo is completely normal. Please don't stress yourself out over it, I've never heard of there being any indication at 8 weeks what the NT will be at 12 weeks.
My doctor even measured mine at 10 weeks but said it'll change by 12 weeks and that's the one they take for the screening purposes

Yeah that’s a really normal 8 week scan. Mine are free floating in a few of mine! You can’t take neck measurements at that gestation. It’s a really small window of a few weeks around 12 weeks that have any validity.

Please don’t worry.

What do you mean? The baby is in the wrong angle?

You have to take an image of the baby in a very precise angle to measure the back of its neck. That's not the right image to be looking at the neck

I agree with this, the scan photo looks like a back/front view of baby not the side x
