When did your periods come back after pregnancy?

I'm 12 months postpartum and no period yet. I'm breastfeeding my DD approx 3 times over a 24 hour period. All my breast feeding friends had their periods return long ago. When did yours return?

Day after DS’s 2nd birthday. (Carried on breastfeeding until he was 3.)

DD was EBF and I continued to BF until 26 months. Periods came back at 4 months! I was robbed 🙈😂

6 weeks despite ebf. Fricking annoying. Nothing like managing a newborn plus a period!

i bf mine for 16 weeks. Periods came back at around the 6 mo mark.

It's so individual OP. What are your concerns?

There's a very wide range of normal with this, every woman is different.

I'm concerned that if I'm not ovulating again, it maybe longer until we can conceive. We would love another.

Mine came back around 11 months postpartum, I breastfed for exactly 12 months and had started to wean when they came back

I breastfed both until 17/18m and my periods didn't return until I completely stopped
...and I got pregnant straight away afterwards so if that isn't what you want use contraception!

Currently have an 11 month old and my body has been tricking me into thinking mine is coming back for a month now. Was ebf, now she barely takes it once a day, but have had on/off very light bleeding for over a month now.
So frustrating!!

I breastfeed and mine returned after 10 months. Everyone is different though and I don’t think it’s unusual for them not to return until breastfeeding has stopped completely.

16 months with dc 1.
My periods were all over the place for the 1st few months, I don’t think I ovulated the first few periods but they settled & I fell pregnant about 5 months after my periods returned.

Period came back after 18 months with dc 2.
