I had an early scan today at 6 weeks 3 days, heartbeat was visualised but was measuring 5 weeks 5 days which worried me a little as I'm 100% of my period and ovulation dates. She also found an
'empty sac' next to it, that she said could've been another embryo or one yet to grow?? She wanted to bring me in again in 2 weeks to check the growth and the empty sac. I didn't ask much at the time but Dr Google tells me this could be a blighted ovum? If so is this likely to cause a miscarriage for the embryo with the heartbeat? Has anyone had a good or bad experience of this? Obviously I am still very early so trying to not get too excited yet anyway
