I am feeding DS who is just over a year (intended to carry on until around the 18 month mark) and am pg again. I would like to carry on feeding for as long a possible but dont want to tandem feed. Does anyone know how long a gap I need to leave after weaning DS off it before the new baby comes so that he doesn't get jealous? And when does your milk revert back to colostrum?

Also, before DS I had 3 m/c's and I have heard it might not be wise to bf whilst pg due to the uterus contractions. Any thoughts?

Sorry, several qu's there!
TIA xx

Have you tried Hillary Flowers' book, Adventures in Tandem Feeding? Bear with me - I know you say you don't want to tandem feed, but there's a lot in it about feeding and weaning when pregnant, and about relationships between toddlers and new babies.

Can't offer you any advice on the mc risk, but again there might well be something in the Flowers book. I'd really recomment it - it's a mine of information.

Weirdly, I can't find it on Amazon for some reason - hope it's not out of print.
