4 days late on period, 5 test supposed positive but seen a lot about blue lines being water lines.

driving myself crazy never had a waterline before on a test or seen this many in a row. However these are showing up after 10mins. Definitely must only be 1 week or just abit over if this is true.

had blood test but HGC showing at 2mg and the stick test drs showed negative however they are confused also and retesting tomorrow.

due back as still no period, definitely never had a late period like this before!

am I crazy?

They look like positive lines to me! How long is it supposed to show up after? Five minutes? Also your period is late. If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck…

Certainly those tests look positive but a lot lighter than I would expect for 4 days late plus if they came up after the time frame then that would make them void.

They all look like evap lines, sorry OP, you can see 4 of them there is a break in the line it’s not a solid line and the other one is very thin. If they are all only showing after 10 mins that that supports them being evap lines, you need to discard the test once outside of the time frame. Sorry OP, these tests are horrendous for evap lines x

Look like evaps. Try a pink dye test

Lighting is horrendous and due to being a couple days old hope the new photos help todays is stronger line!

defo developing quicker but never in my life seen 5 evap lines.

did strip at home (which made me use CB to confirm) also positive but no longer have it as turned yellow! As like the first ones are going off abit!

hopefully new blood tests tomorrow so will see, not sure what the pink test is seen this mentioned but might be a different as I live on an island only got these available (have to order strips) CB which seemed like reasonable option as extra sensitive (6 days early test) but extra expensive not doing anymore they are driving me crazy!

Given my period some extra time so could be still possible but hoping for some good news and just super early.

Honestly try a pink dye, Clearblue should be taken off the market. If your blood test was negative and you were getting lines then I’d be sure the tests are faulty.

They look like evap lines to me I’m afraid. 4 days late you’d expect a really dark line. I absolutely HATE those clear blue tests, they are the worst on the market. Get yourself a test with red dye - I think boots early tests are red dye and don’t give false results. Sorry OP.

Sadly if your HCG level is 2 then I’m afraid you are not pregnant.

(If anyone is interested, the median HCG at 4w4d is 813, with a range of 283-1768.)

Edit to add that yes, now FRERs have been withdrawn from high street sale, ClearBlues should be next!

FRER are still available on Amazon, have they been discontinued?

Pink dye just refers to the style of tests which use pink or red dye rather than blue like CB.

I'm afraid you should only read the result within the window advised on the test - outside that the result can't be relied on.

Blood tests will be most reliable

Must be a real emotional rollercoaster, TTC can be shit at times, I'm sorry 😔
