Hello, this is my first post, but i would be really grateful for any advice on a dilemma i have. I originally ordered the Quinny Buzz 4 with everything, really liked it and was very pleased, i am very indecisive and a couple of weeks ago a great deal came up on the Cosatto Mobi with everything and so i swapped my order, the shop were really good about it. However now i am not sure i have made the right decision, money is not the issue, although would need to pay an extra £250 for the Quinny. The shop have said i could swap, but didnt sound too impressed. DP no help, as said i should go for the one i want!!! You would think i would know what i want second time round, Sorry for the long post but would really appreciate your thoughts.
Thanks in advance.

Hello,

No experience with the Quinny but i have the Cossato Mobi and its seems fab!
Theres a few others on here too with it that love it.

nappyaddict · 19/04/2008 19:12

can you use the seat unit from birth with the mobi. if so that would decide it for me cos the seat unit is only from 6 months on the buzz and they often outgrow the carrycot before then.

nappyaddict · 19/04/2008 19:13

just looked and it doesn't. do they sell the mura 4? very similar to the buzz 4 but the seat can be used from birth.

cosima · 19/04/2008 19:14

when i see people with a quinny buzz they are often cursing something and rowing with their partners. i researched them quite extensively and read alot of bad reviews. don't know about the cosatto. type in name of pram and 'review' into google and read it all. ( i've got a mountain buggy and I LOVE it)

excitedfornumber2 · 19/04/2008 19:20

Thanks for the quick responses, you cant use the seat unit until 6 months on the mobi, however the pram part is much bigger than the quinny. i thought id read you could use the seat unit from birth with the quinny, one thing i do really like about the cosatto is that you get a 4 year warranty, and ive read in other reviews that they replace things really easily and quickly if something goes wrong.
Pigleychez - what colour have you got?
Thanks cosima will definately do that!

I got the Ember colour.. Dark grey and orange as we decided to keep the sex a suprise.

I agree the carrycot is pretty large and should last quite a while. That was one of my main criterias of pram buying... having a carry cot so baby could lie flat.

nappyaddict · 19/04/2008 19:25

they are both only from birth with use of a carry cot.

mura 4

excitedfornumber2 · 19/04/2008 19:28

I really like the ember colour, i chose the ink because i know its another little boy, and my DS1 has a tinge of ginger in his hair, wasnt sure if it would clash if you know what i mean. The colour is another thing that i keep changing my mind about, its quite annoying.
Pigley - did you ask for advice on the mobi when you were buying yours i thnk i remember thats why i had a look at it.

I think the buzz has a lot of negatives, small shopping basket type thing, really quite wide and the seat unit seems really small.

pigleychez · 19/04/2008 19:31

yeah i post asking if anyone had any experence with one as they werent out that long when i got mine and couldnt find many reviews.

Sorry if i caused trouble, making you change your mmind. lol

nappyaddict · 19/04/2008 19:31

the mura 3 seems to be slightly cheaper for some reason.

excitedfornumber2 · 19/04/2008 19:34

No probs pigley, i saw a post on mn asking for advice, and some nice person had put a link on with a really cheap price, i managed to shop around and got it for £290 so i was really pleased. i am always the same about evrything i buy, my dh laughs at me cause i always end up buying things and then taken them back!! haha lol

OP posts:
nappyaddict · 19/04/2008 19:41

is that £290 including everything? i'd go for that then!! the mura is about £250 just for the pushchair!

excitedfornumber2 · 19/04/2008 19:43

Yes it was a special offer on Pramworld, and luckily the local shop matched the price!

OP posts:
pigleychez · 19/04/2008 19:48

nappyaddict · 19/04/2008 19:49

i'd stick with that then. the maxi-cosi one is nice but it's almost £200 more expensive.

excitedfornumber2 · 19/04/2008 19:51

I was a little nervous about posting, DS1 was due 12th July, but he came on 30th June!, watch this LO come late!!!.

I know i was really pleased with the deal i got, its just when you got a niggly doubt.

I've got the quinny Buzz and v impressed with it

Coolmama · 19/04/2008 19:54

I just bought this one and it is very cool - added a maxicosi carseat and I am done!

nappyaddict · 24/04/2008 01:08

i like the fisher price kuji, mutsy, bugaboo bee, i'coo peak 3, traxx ecuador, loola up, bebe confort streety, m&p skate, m&p herbie, luna mix (the new 3 wheeler one - the 4 wheeler one isn't very good cos the small wheels get stuck when you go down steps and kerbs)
