I found out I was pregnant 3 weeks ago. The weekend before last I had a small bit of spotting and went to the ER as I’ve miscarried in the past. They could see a pregnancy but just a yoke sac. I was in for another scan 2 days later and the could see an embryo but no heart beat. I was back today and I saw the flicker of the heart and it looked bigger to me. I said it’s grown and the nurse said not as much as we expected. Last week it’s was measuring 4.6mm and today 5.7mm. She also said the heart beats were slower than they should be. I met with my dr after who said I was on the fence and it could go either way. He put me on progesterone, very strong folate acid and aspirin. I have another scan next week. I am 40, this is my 7th time being pregnant with no children yet. I really felt this was a miracle baby. I also don’t really know my dates bar the day we had sex would make us the dates that measured today. 6 weeks and 2 days. I’m hoping they measured wrong last week. The nurse did say she has saw pregnancies develop from this stage. The wait is the worst! Anyone have similar experience and still have a healthy baby? When I saw the heart today I felt I connected with it and I knew my baby xxx
