Can the copper IUD leave behind any harmful toxins?

I had the copper iud fitted for around 3 months. I had it removed 2 weeks just as my period ended.

Can I start TTC asap or do I have to wait for my body to flush out any harmful toxins?

DH word away and home for 3 months so don't really have time to delay.

How long has yours been fitted?

I had mine removed and was told I could start trying right away. I fell pregnant within the month and she's now a perfectly healthy 2 year old. I had had mine fitted for 4 years

Did you take any pregnancy vitamins before trying?

No none at all
