Low lying placenta at 29 weeks

I was told at my 20 week scan that my placenta was low lying (8mm away from my cervix). I had a growth scan last week at almost 29 weeks due to GD and she said it still hasn’t moved enough (9mm away now so it’s moved 1mm in 8/9 weeks 🙃). Today my midwife said consultants vary on the distance but most say around 3cm, so it’s quite a way off!!

Noone seems concerned- they just keep saying there’s plenty of time. But realistically what are the chances for it moving by the time baby is born? I’ve got another scan at 32 weeks and then at 36 if it’s not moved. I can’t see it moving but has anyone got any positive stories?

Is your placenta anterior or posterior? I believe there's a much high chance for anterior to move than there is posterior
