Pregnancy sickness second time round

Hi,

Did anyone find their sickness improved quicker with their second pregnancy?

My sickness started earlier this time and it's so awful and I am only 7 weeks pregnant. My sickness with my first hung around till 21 weeks.

Feeling desperate and useless already and would like to know the common theme

No unfortunately both times was sick till I gave birth. Second time started earlier (but it was twins).

I managed it better the second time. Was the same but got the right medication and more willing to take it. Avoided triggers ie smell of something like coffee I could stand when pregnant.

First time around I was so nervous! I had it till the day my babies born!

Second pregnancy here and I've had it far worse this time round.

First pregnancy it didn't even start till 7 weeks and wasn't every day although it did linger on till almost 20 weeks. I found the extreme food aversions and heightened sense of smell crazy though.

Second pregnancy and it hit earlier at 5.5 weeks, had a brief reprieve around 9-10 weeks where i thought it was gone but, nope, 11+2 today and it's back with a vengeance. When I am sick this time round it's a lot more severe and sudden so I'm stopping the car and throwing up on the roadside or today I had to run into the house but didn't make it on time and threw up all over the floor! Not lost my appetite like last time, i want to eat, just struggling to keep whatever I do eat down!

I also think second time feels harder as you now have another child to look after at the same time.

Nope, unfortunately it was much worse. Vomited at least 8 times per day instead of the previous 3-4. However; currently pregnant with number three and it’s the best I’ve felt so far. I’ve been taking Xonvea daily. Missed it at the weekend and vomited 4 times in 24h. I recommend the medication so much. I wouldn’t have coped without it.

First time I was sick until around 18 weeks.
Second time until around 20 weeks.
Third pregnancy I had severe hyperemesis until around 28 weeks. She was then born at 30 weeks 🤦‍♀️

Not really what you're looking for but mine was so much worse second time around. Was on 3 different types of anti sickness, vomited for the first 5 months and then spent the next 3 months feeling sick constantly.
3 different types of anti sickness meds to keep me going and I hated every second.
I had hyperemesis with both, it just tailed off with my first by 16/20 weeks and didn't with the second
