Loss of symptoms 9 and a half weeks

For a few days I’ve noticed my awful all day sickness getting shorter and less intense and today I’ve had nothing and my boobs no longer hurt (9+4).
Last week I had some bleeding so have a scan on Thursday but with this now my anxiety is very high!
I thought it wasn’t until week 12 that symptoms disappear. Although I’m definitely getting a bump which isn’t bloating that I didn’t get with my first.
Did anyone else lose symptoms this early and everything was fine?

There isn't a hard and fast rule that symptoms will stop at a certain point in the pregnancy - some women find that sickness subsides when the placenta takes over around 10-12 weeks but for others that's not the case.

Most women find symptoms come and go throughout the first trimester and vary in intensity from week to week.
I had awful sickness from 6-9 weeks then it calmed down a lot and became a lot milder. I was really hoping I was done!
I'm now 11+2 and this week it's been back to horrific - had to sprint into the house today and ended up throwing up all over the bathroom floor as didn't get to the toilet in time. Good times!

@sel2223 thank you for your reply! That sounds horrible, just when you thought it had finished.
Mines been very constant from week 5 until now, all these to worry us!

Oh they definitely like to cause us extra worry and keep us on our toes. Good luck with your scan, I'm sure everything will be fine.
This is my second too and i had a scan just last week, all looking good so far.

I just wanted to post my experience. I never had bad sickness to start with but was having a bad dry heave, sore boobs and weeing lots during the night and around 9 weeks this all stopped and I convinced myself the baby had died, I was devastated. I had a scan at 10 weeks and baby was absolutely fine and symptoms were back not long after the scan!

The worst of my first trimester sickness went away around 9 weeks and never returned. I'm now 21 weeks and everything is looking good at the moment. I felt sick everyday from 5 weeks so it was a bit disconcerting..
Hope the scan goes well.

Thank you so much for your reply and I’m pleased everything has turned out brilliantly for you. It’s all such a worry before you look pregnant and can feel movements x

Thank you for your post, I’m so pleased everything is going well for you. I guess there’s no rule of 12 weeks, 9 just felt early. Maybe it’ll come back again, but I’ll update after the scan.

Just to update that I had my scan today and all went well. Measuring 10 weeks exactly 😊 thank you for all your comments. I want to reassure people that symptom loss before 12 weeks isn’t necessarily a bad thing and has no more bleeding.
