Hey! I am currently 4 weeks 2 days pregnant with my first ever positive after 3 years trying following a frozen embryo transfer
I got my first faint positive on Saturday which was 9 days past transfer and positive digitals 10 days past and 11 days past which was this morning.

my worry is that I’ve got some cramping which I’ve had on and off since about Friday but today they have definitely intensified I would say just over mild nothing majorly intense but definitely feels the same as the cramps I would get when my period is due to start. I don’t have any other things going on such as bleeding etc (touch wood)

is this normal or should I be worried?

Absolutely normal.

There’s a lot going on in there! I was convinced my period was about to start when I was newly pregnant because of the cramping, but it’s just everything stretching out.

Wishing you a happy, healthy pregnancy!

Some cramping is normal especially with a first pregnancy. I had terrible cramps and was told it was my uterus stretching to make room for the baby. If you have any bleeding (bright red) with the cramps then call your midwife. Hope that helps ease your mind a bit.

I had terrible cramps from around 4-6 weeks, they would wake me up in the night and I'd have to take paracetamol. Currently 13 weeks with a healthy baby so far. From what I read, it's only a worry if the cramps are one sided as this can indicate ectopic
