9 weeks damp underwear - worried

Hi all

I am 9 weeks 2 days and throughout the last couple weeks I've had damp knickers and not really thought too much into it. Anyway last night it was damp again and I have started to worry it's my amniotic fluid as it it's just watery and not thick or white discharge.

My waters broke in my last pregnancy at 15 weeks so I am so frightened. I'm unsure if there is even much fluid at 9 weeks to even a leak or if it's me overthinking. I spoke to EPU who advised to go in for a scan but not until Thursday and I am so worried. I am taking progesterone and have since 6 weeks.
Has anyone experienced this?

Your body produces more vaginal discharge in the first trimester. Sorry to be blunt but smell it- amniotic fluid has a strange synthetic smell.

Hi,

I have smelt it and it smells very similar to the whole time I've been pregnant, slightly sweet urine smell but also not any different to usual

It's probably increased discharge which is very common

I’m on progesterone and I’m the same, I do also get brown on and off when wiping but had scans and everything is fine, I have read the progesterone can cause brown in just now looking to see if it can cause like watery liquid, I have read over and over again that is messy business using the pessary so I’m hoping it’s down to that.
