Easy@home BFP vs Clear blue BFN

Hello. I'm due AF today but no sign yet. Did a easyathome and got a faint but definitely BFP. Few hours later downed 1.5litres of water and got a BFN.

Why?! Anyone else had this?

Because your urine would have been far more diluted and therefore test didn't pick up the HCG! Especially that early on, you need to use first morning wee.

I had 2 positive frer test next morning my clear blue digital was negative. I had bloods done to confirm pregnancy then had to go back a couple days later to see if they were rising, I waited 3 days after my first digital test and did another one that came back positive, the fact you are early and down a lot of water so your urine will be diluted is prolly the reason for the negative test. Wait a couple days and retest

Thank you everyone! It really messes with your head doesn't it! I just got this from FMU. So think it's positive, very light but definitely a line!!! Not getting hopes up just yet.. will do another tommorow with clear blue.
