Diet / how my body changed

Hello current / future moms.

I am 6 months pregnant and suffered from bad nausea for the first 4 months and terrible food aversion. Unfortunately still picky and I don't get along with meat well or anything that's actually got protein in it. Of course that affects me alot. From not having too much strength and energy to the way I look or feel.

I've noticed changes on my body, not just the weight gain but cellulite is literally everywhere. And really bad on my legs! Indeed the majority of what I have been eating was carbs and sugars..

Do you have anything to suggest in terms of diet or anything else that will help getting rid of the cellulite?

I fear that it will stay after pregnancy..

Thank you

In pregnancy, a lot of it is water weight and water retention that looks like cellulite but isn’t. I had cellulite looking fat all over my legs, bum and hips in my first pregnancy and within a few weeks of giving birth, it went down considerably.

I’m now nearly 13 weeks with my second and the same thing is happening. Just stay away from the mirror for these next few months and just know it’s normal 🥰

Just to say there are lots of other ways of getting protein - ear you eating plenty of plant-based protein sources? If you're feeling low energy you could look to get ferritin levels tested, and take an iron supplement if needed

That makes me feel much more reassured 🙏🏻 thank you
