Hi
I plan to give birth in St Heilier Hospital as it's local to me, however near birth time I will move to near Croydon Hospital. I've been advised I can continue to give birth at St Heilier if I wish, and I do prefer to stick to same hospital as it's not too far from my new house. However I believe post natal cover will be provided by new Borough, which is Croydon Hospital. From your experience can you answer below questions please as I am abit confused-

  1. I am filling in self referral for St Heilier, at what stage I let Croydon Hospital know they will need to do postnatal visits.? Do I let them know or St Heilier hospital will contact them?
  1. Do I need to change my GP first and only then they Croydon hospital will accept me for postnatal?

Thanks so much
Ash
