Gender help!!

Had a 20 weeks scan and told the gender. It was more of a potty shot but couldn’t see and 3 lines nor something to tell it’s a boy. Sonographer only viewed at that angle without going further.

Currently in doubt now, its total flatness between babies thigh from the back view though thighs 60% opened.

Do I go for another scan or take sonographer words for it?

You know that sonographers are trained professionals who literally do this kind of stuff for a job don't you? Why is everyone on mumsnet convinced they know better how to determine what kind of baby they're expecting?

It’s the least important thing of everything that is checked from the sonographer’s perspective and if they told you the baby’s sex then they saw it.

I take it you were told Boy? congratulations.
Bear in mind the trained sonographer is looking at a moving image and checking everything at the anomoly scan.....all the organs (including sex organs) and whole body measurements - they've obviously seen something during the scan which wasn't the cord (which they also check).
It's far less likely for a mistake to be made this way round once boy genitals have been seen, not unheard of but very unlikely.
They've probably just gone to potty shot angle to try and show you but they will have been checking everything the entire scan, they're not making a prediction off one still image.
Baby is in fluid as well don't forget so things move in and out of view

I didn’t ask for help to be judged.
seen a scan video that’s total flatness from the back shot and another thing going further.

Thank you. Just didn’t want to dress baby in a wrong gender outfit as I’m looking to buy baby hospital leaving clothe this week 😁😁.

Thank you 😁. I just wanted to get the right wears if you know what I mean. Wouldn’t want to dress a boy in girl wears nor girl in boy wears 😆 especially when getting baby home after delivery 😆.
