So I had my first child via c-section almost 7 months ago and I’m 6 weeks pregnant. Although we knew we wanted more children I thought it would take longer to conceive because it took us 3 years to conceive our daughter. I know it’s recommended to wait at least 12 months because conceiving after c-section so I wanted to know what the risks are to getting pregnant again so soon and if anyone has experienced anything similar. I’m worried about my scar later in the pregnancy and also that I might be pressured to have a planned c-section instead of a VBAC. Not to mention worries about having two children under two.
I’m elated that I’m pregnant again and able to give my daughter a sibling but I’m anxious and just looking for some wisdom and reassurance from anyone who has gone through the same.
