Hello all,

sorry this is long winded 🤦‍♀️

I am pregnant, we've been trying for 5 years (had a miscarriage July 2019) was testing ovulation etc, recently stopped as I was putting myself under sooo much stress 😩

Anyway we fell pregnant last month, done a clear blue digital on 20/08 which said 1-2 weeks 🥹.. so I'll probably be around 3 weeks pregnant but 8 weeks according to LMP...

I went into hospital on 26/08 with cramps and spotting, empty sac I forgot what my HcG levels were.. 29/08 blood test HcG 2410.. in between these days I had a day where I bled, but not a lot, maybe 2/3 drops.2/09 scan empty sac again but HcG levels are 7672..

My next scan is Tuesday, I've had every symptom of early pregnancy but still spotting brown/light pink no cramps.

Basically wanted to know if anyone else has gone through this?
What was the outcome?
I'm trying to be positive but I have mourned what's not there already..

I have a photo of my paper work from 2/09 which I have attached...

Help me put my mind at ease 😭

I’m sorry I can’t help with advice, only offer you a hand hold. It’s very stressful time and I know everyone will tell you not to worry, but you will. All I can say is remain optimistic but cry if you need to.

my mum, always one with wise words 🥰, when I was waiting for the test results (you had to wait a few days back then ), said to me, “remember if not this time, it will be next time, remain positive and the positive will come” she was right, it was a few tests later but I got there. 🌼

Hi OP, sorry you're having to deal with this.
You mentioned you were tracking ovulation, do you know the date you ovulated?
Don't forget to add 2 weeks on with the clear blue digital tests as its from ovulation so 1-2 weeks is actually 3-4 weeks pregnant, if that was almost 3 weeks ago, you'd now be coming up to 6-7 weeks pregnant when you have your scan on Tuesday.
It could just be that you've been super early on the previous scans but, by this stage, you would expect to see a fetus and hopefully a heartbeat.

Good luck.

SleepyPandah · 08/09/2024 15:07

@sel2223 I actually stopped tracking about 4 months ago as I was getting worked up and wedding planning took lead..

I'm hoping to see something on the scan on Tuesday but not getting my hopes too high 😢

Also just to add
I have underactive thyroid which makes my cycle irregular, it is usually around 32-37 days 😩

My cycles have also been very long this last year or so (average 40-45 days) and I'm sat here at 11 weeks pregnant so it can happen!!
I'm about 2 weeks behind what LMP would put me at because of the late ovulation.

Good luck

So sorry you're going through this waiting game. I have pcos and was tracking my bbt when I fell pregnant with my ds. I knew for a fact that I'd ovulated on day 29, so my initial dates were changed to match my working out, not my lmp. At my 12 wk scan, my dates were spot on. If I'd have gone by my lmp, the scan would have given very confusing measurements,

So, you may have ovulated much later than you think and there is still hope. You may be really early to see anything on the scan. Wishing you the best of luck xx

Update:9/9/2024

TW BELOW (blood)

this morning I woke up very poorly.
Around an hour later i started bleeding, heavy.
Called EPU told me to go up if I go through more than 2 pads in an hour.
I had a feeling something was up.

It's been exactly 2 weeks since my first appointment 💔

Sorry to hear this. How are you now?

sel2223 · 10/09/2024 19:06

Is there any update OP? Did you get a scan? I'm so sorry you're experiencing this

SleepyPandah · 11/09/2024 04:12

I forgot to post updates yesterday, twas a blur.

Went in for scan and there was nothing but RPOC, i knew it was coming, I think my brain/body knew.

On arrival to EPU was given all my options for miscarriage.
I chose medical, hence why yesterday was a blur.

Thank you all for wise words 🖤
