I'm somewhere between 5 and 6 weeks.
I took the first tablet at 11pm Thursday night and then the 4 pessaries at 8am Saturday morning.
Apart from a lot of tummy ache, nothing happened so at 11am I took the other 2 pessaries.
At 2.30pm I started to bleed but only when I went to the toilet and pushed hard. It was like that all night and morning. Like a period I guess- a stream of blood in the toilet but no clots. The maternity pads I've been wearing have been totally clear.
I've called up the private clinic I went through but they've said as it's not a medical emergency I have to call back tomorrow
Please can anyone tell me if their experience was similar to mine? I think it's working as I'm bleeding but I'm worried about retaining some tissue.
I felt horrendous yesterday - high temp, fluey, sick, upset tummy and a lot of pain. Today I feel totally normal and am cleaning my house!

I think if you feel okay today then that’s a good sign, but keep an eye on things for the next week or two until you’re meant to do the final pregnancy test to check your HCG is negative.

I unfortunately had a very similar experience to the one you describe, passing huge amounts of blood and clots, had such severe pain and felt feverish, nauseated, vomiting, etc - I had felt so rough and had so much pain and bleeding that I didn’t think there was any possibility it could have failed to work.
Then about four weeks later I randomly stood on my drive and vomited out of nowhere - I went and did a pregnancy test and it was still a full strong positive. I went back to the clinic and they scanned me and I was still very much pregnant and there was still a heart beat. I ended up having a D&C to bring things to a conclusion, and then developed endometretitis a week or two later.

The only reason I’m bringing this up is because something about your post reminded me of the way it was all so severe, and then very abruptly - just nothing. All pain and feeling unwell stopped completely out of the blue.

Gosh that sounds horrendous, I'm really sorry you went through that. Thanks for sharing your experience - I will definitely keep an eye on things as something just feels a bit off...
