Sainsbury shared parental leave

Hi,

does anyone know what Sainsbury policy is on shared parental leave ? Or do they follow the governments criteria

There's a Sainsbury's policy on it. If you go onto MySainsburys (if it's still called that - I was in management there until a few years ago!) just type in 'shared parental leave' and it should come up.

There are also a few more guides which are quite well put together to read through. Your manager can get these for you or if you're not ready to tell them yet you can search for them on MySainsburys too - search for little book of maternity/paternity. Management aren't always in the know with the ins and outs of what the offerings are, so these guides are quite helpful. They'll have the number for the advice line (can't remember what it's called but it's Sainsbury's specific for new parents) and the people at the other end are really friendly and in the know!
