Currently 33w pregnant and have been hit with exhaustion. I work Mon-Wed as a nursery teacher, DS is 3 and is nursery 2.5 days a week. I have a half morning Fri where he’s at nursery and I’m off but outside of that he’s with me all the time.

I’m exhausted and DS is currently being parented by Disney Plus. We used to do so much during the week but now one activity takes it out of me and I need to lie down for a while afterwards. Not anemic, just not sleeping great and feel like I’m being weighed down by a bowling ball.

Is anyone else in the same boat? Can anyone promise I’m not neglecting my child 😭 Two weeks and then I finish up work, so should get some energy back then hopefully!

Didn't want to read and not reply - cut yourself some much needed slack - you are pregnant with a toddler and a very demanding full time job. Your kid will be fine being parented by Disney Plus for a while. Rest when you can and hang in there too work finishes!

Third trimester tiredness is like nothing I've ever felt. It was even worse than the newborn sleep deprived stage. Give yourself a break, your DS will be fine for a few weeks, maybe his dad can take him to the park or something over the weekend to give you a rest and let him burn off some energy.

You're doing the absolute best thing for your child, and giving him a sibling who he'll love and be loved by for life. You are nearly there, even if Disney parented for the next 7 weeks it's no big deal, you're just spending your energy growing the best gift you'll ever give him xxx
