Nail polish and remover

Attending wedding today, painted toes last night, had abit left from the summer (I wouldn't do nails very often) used acetone free nail polish remover containing ethyl acetate and rimmel polish, doesn't seem to contain big 3. 11+1 today. The remover got on my skin and burned abit. Feeling very anxious about it this morning reading about organic solvent risks. Anyone used these products in first trimester?

I've been using acetone free nail polish remover throughout my pregnancy - haven't given it a moment's thought. Wash your hands after using it, but you should do that anyway!

It's completely fine, if anything like this was dangerous to pregnant women there would be massive hazard signs all over it as companies wouldn't want to risk anything. NHS guidance is the best place to look for advice on what you can and can't do. Have you felt quite anxious this pregnancy?

I’ve been painting my own nails and getting pedicures throughout, hadn’t even crossed my mind not to. If you’re struggling with worry about things like this, def speak to your midwife

I'm a lab user and only 1 of the many solvents I use I had to stop using in pregnancy and that was dichloromethane.
The safety data sheet for ethyl acetate doesn't list issues in pregnancy. This is what safety precautions in the lab are based on

Thank you all for your responses, really appreciate the reassurance. Yes I am anxious for sure. Topic for another forum xx
