Sweep at 38+3 but feeling nothing - any hope?

so I had a sweep yesterday at about 3pm (it’s now the following morning). My doctor said I’m 1cm dilated and she was ‘able to really get in there and give a good sweep’ which gave me some hope. But my cervix is still quite far back apparently. Since then I had a tiny bit of cramping right after - likely just because of the procedure rather than anything really happening. Went to bed really hopeful I might wake up in early labour but I feel totally normal this morning. Is there any hope? Those of you who have had a successful sweep before, when did you tend to start feeling some movement? I know it’s not 100% foolproof and doesn’t work for many, but I’m wondering if I still can have hope or should move on to my life lol

Why have you had such an early sweep?

I had one at 38 weeks witch was on Thursday think iv lost a little bit of my plug but there was no blood in it just abit stringy I felt poorly all day yesterday and woke up today been sick twice and have some back ack and belly keeps going hard I’m hoping this is my start but I’m past window for sweep to work they say 48 hours but you never know with my last baby I had a sweep on the Thursday and gave birth in the Sunday after

I had an early sweep as I’m higher risk so wanted to try get labour going before a full induction! It had to be done by a consultant and wouldn’t be the norm if you haven’t any complications.
