Have a c section due to chronic anal fissure

Has anyone chosen an elective c section due to a chronic anal fissure? Or other issue not related to child birth.

One month into pregnancy I was in agony 24/7, this lasted about a month. I'm now 5 months pregnant and whilst I'm not in excruciating pain anymore, I still suffer from them and have to manage my diet and life as best as I can. I'm really worried have a natural birth will make it worse and I've read some posts where birth has caused fissures and women have been left in horrendous pain. I really don't want to go through that again, especially with a new born.

You have the right to choose, be prepared to fight for it.
