Hi, I had a miscarriage at around 8 weeks exactly 12 days ago. Does anyone have any idea of when I’ll next ovulate ?

Hi OP,
It all depends on high your hcg was and how quickly it’s falling. I had a miscarriage also at 8 weeks on 8th July and it took 6 weeks for my hcg to fall and I ovulated 27th Aug. Everyone is different some people ovulate as soon as 2 weeks but I think the norm is any where between 4-8 weeks.

I'm sorry for your loss. Like PP said, it's different for everyone - some people don't ovulate after a miscarriage until they've had a period, some will ovulate sooner. You can use ovulation tests to track, but if you haven't had a negative pregnancy test yet then they might pick up leftover hCG and give you a misleading result. I miscarried at 9 weeks last year and had surgical management, I ovulated just over 3 weeks after the surgery, a day or two after getting a negative pregnancy test.

It's possible to get ovulate and get pregnant almost straight away. But it is advised to wait and have a normal period, and a negative pregnancy test. We waited a couple of months for the recovery, and glad we did.

It varies. I had a miscarriage in August and 2 weeks later I had egg white like discharge and a tiny bit of spotting plus very much in the mood. 14 days later my period arrived so I'm fairly sure that I was ovulating around this time. I believe anything from 2 weeks to 2 months is normal and it might take a few cycles for things to settle
