I started feeling butterfly flutters from 15 weeks and it progressed to much stronger quite quickly. I think I was about 24 weeks when you could feel and see the kicks outside the bump! Such an exciting time, best of luck!

17 with my first and 14 weeks with my second. I did feel a flutter at 12 weeks

CluelessInLondon · 05/09/2024 18:08

Just over 19 weeks for the first flutters with mine - first baby, anterior placenta. Took about another 4 weeks to really start getting regular movements though.

19 weeks with an anterior placenta for me too! I’m 20 weeks now and her movement is definitely getting stronger - I actually felt it on the outside today! It’s such a nice feeling.

No flutters really, just straight to what felt like kicks at 19 weeks - very irregular though, maybe only felt a kick every other day. At 20 weeks we could feel them from the outside. I’m 22 weeks today and have been having pretty constant movement and kicks for the last 5 days - it’s lovely!

I think I felt bubbles/flutter around 19 weeks on a few occasions but not properly until 23/24 weeks.

sel2223 · 05/09/2024 19:50

First baby I had an anterior placenta so didn't feel anything till about 22 weeks.

Still early days for this pregnancy so we shall see (so hoping I don't have an anterior placenta again this time!!)

WonderingAboutBabies · 06/09/2024 11:26

16 weeks for flutters/bubbles. About 17-18 weeks for faint kicks. Full on kicks from 20 weeks onwards. Can feel/see them on the outside from 20 weeks onwards. Currently writing this at 22 weeks with baby having a disco party on my bladder!!

MikeRafone · 06/09/2024 11:27

14 weeks with first and 21 weeks with second

Peonies12 · 06/09/2024 11:50

Proper movements around 22 weeks, in retrospective I had some light movements before then but didn’t recognise! But I’ve never had a pattern of movements and I’m 37 weeks now

SnarkWeek · 06/09/2024 11:55

I felt flutters at 13 weeks with this baby, but it’s my second and I have a posterior placenta which apparently makes them easier to feel. 19 weeks now and there’s no mistaking them, think I’m going to be black and blue by the end! Enjoy it, I find them really reassuring

Aw thankyou so much for the replies! Hopefully I’ll start feeling something in the next few weeks. I can’t wait to experience that feeling 🥰
