Hi! I'm a larger lady, I'm currently 11 weeks pregnant with my first (successful so far and going really well 💛) pregnancy. I was wondering when I'd maybe start to show?

I've heard with a first child it can take a little longer but I expect because my tummy isn't flat, it might take a little longer. Just curious!! X

Hi. I would say with my first I was about a size 12 and didn't really show until 15 Weeks. It depends on how your body holds the baby . I'm on my third now a size 14 and show really early like 11/12 weeks. It's tough to figure out if it's you or baby so early in first trimester. X

I'm a size 8/10 for my first it was 20+ weeks

I was an 18-20 in my first pregnancy and honestly
I could still pass for just being chubby even at 30-32 weeks. It then massively popped and I was very noticeably pregnant.

I had the opposite experience. I am an 18-20 and started getting a proper bump at 14 weeks and was very obviously pregnant (though people always thought I was further along than I was).

Thank you all for your replies!! I should have mentioned I'm a size 18-20. I'm only 11 weeks so I'm intrigued as to when and if I'll be noticeably pregnant!

I didn’t. Everyone was shocked when I went on maternity leave 🤣

(lost it now.)

I'm an 18 and had an obvious bump at 16/17 weeks. It was very high and round. My best friend is a similar size and was pregnant at the same time but didn't really show the whole time! She obviously got larger, but it wasn't an obvious bump shape. I think it's determined more by how you carry the baby than your starting body shape tbh! For reference I'm 5ft 8 and she's 5ft 2.

Pre pregnancy I was size 8 and I started showing properly at 15 weeks. Maybe start of a little bloating at 13-14 weeks

This. I was 25 weeks when I told my team that I'd be taking time off in the autumn, and someone asked if I was going travelling. 😁

Careful dressing makes all the difference. Black trousers and a black t-shirt under a brighter jacket hides a lot.

I'm.a curvy girl although I don't really carry much around the tummy, I'm all thighs/hips/bum....
First pregnancy I had a bit of a bloated tum but nothing major, I think I just looked like I'd overindulged all through the first and second trimesters rather than looking unmistakeably pregnant!
I went for an unrelated MRI at 30 weeks and the person doing the scan could not believe I was pregnant- I still had hardly any bump when I lay flat!
It was about 33 weeks before I truly 'popped' and looked obviously pregnant.

I was a size 18, lost weight before pregnant to a size 12-14. Started showing at 32-33 weeks, before that I just look chubby. My belly wasn't fully rounded and with lose clothes nobody could tell I was pregnant.

I got GD very early, so I have to care a lot what I eat so just gained 10 kilos the entire pregnancy. First baby as well. I still fit on most of my clothes and my baby is big, on the 80-90%. I guess he just tucks inside very well

I have a cousin that was size 22-24 when she got pregnant, she had a very large belly already so she never looked pregnant through the entire pregnancy.
