Pgp and groin cramps 39 weeks

Almost 39 weeks. Last week or so I’ve had pain in left hip, worse on movement and can hardly get down the stairs. This is rubbish but sort of bearable. But worse than that I’ve been getting horrendous groin cramps - like the kind of cramp you get in your foot or calf, not period type cramps. They only happen when I’m moving, they are agony and take my breath away and last from a few seconds to maybe 20 seconds. I am assuming this is all from hip pressure and the fact my ligaments and joints are all out of place…,I feel there’s no point going through nhs physio this late. Anyone ever had this? I can’t seem to find much online about it. Any tips? Feeling very debilitated and in agony !!

Omg I have had exactly the same! It’s awful. I don’t get it when I’m sat down, just when I’m standing and on the move. I don’t know if it’s when the baby is lying on a certain nerve or something. Usually with leg cramp you can stretch it out but I have no idea how to do that with cramp in my groin. Interested to hear other peoples solutions.

I never found a solution except maybe wearing supportive trainers helped a bit. But I’ve had my baby and no groin pains so far! Good luck

Aww congratulations!
Glad to hear you haven’t had it since! That’s reassuring!
Enjoy your baby xx
