Older mum needing reassurance - pregnancy and flying

I am 37 years old and DH is in his 40s, both fit and healthy, we had our first baby 3 years ago. I am 2 months pregnant, complete surprise but we are happy.

As a 37 yo I am slightly apprehensive due to my age and all the stats are doom and gloom. I have plenty of family and friends that have conceived past this age and mother and baby have both been fine.

We however had a holiday booked and age my age is already making me worry I did not want to add further layers of stress. I have read about cosmic radiation from flights, which are minimal but nonetheless still present.

Its a 4 hour flight to Egypt, 7 days stay and 4 hours back.

Has anyone above 35 flew while pregnant without issues? How far along were you and did everything turn out ok with your baby?

the NIPT if you can afford it offers vague reassurance
The NIPT (I was offered it for free both times in my Trust) gave me results of <10000:1. That's a lot more than vague reassurance.

What does NIPT test and cover?

The three trisomies; Down's, Edward's and Patau's. The same three you get the risk assessment for from your first scan and bloodwork. It takes a further blood sample but is able to test the actual fetal DNA from your blood.

At my trust if you had a score from your first set of tests of >500:1 you were offered the Harmony NIPT. My first pregnancy I think I got 180:1, similar with 2nd. So had Harmony both times and got <10,000:1 which is the lowest possible risk result they give.
