Morning sickness but no heartbeat

At 8 weeks pregnant but measuring 8 and a half. We found our ivf baby had no heartbeat. This was a week ago. Confirmed by 2 staff then 2 days later at EPU nhs confirmed by 2 staff there as well (told they needed to scan before they took over care)

One of The hardest bit is my morning sickness is still quite strong. I'm waiting to hopefully miscarry naturally at home but have options to go jn for meds or surgery if I phone in.

I've been prescribed cyclizine by GP (only since no hb. I never complained about morning sickness before.) It's doesn't seem to do much for me.

Any other ways to try and stop it??

I suspect part of its also coming from the huge drop in medication now I'm no longer on estrogen and progesterone. And I have ovarian failure so my body doesn't make its own and usually I am on hrt every day.

I think it's so horrible feeling sick with no hb

Sorry you're going through this OP. You could ask for medical management of the miscarriage if you would prefer to speed things up. Not sure what more they can do. Maybe ask GP if there is a different medication or dosage you could try?

I'm so sorry you're going through this. With my most recent loss in May I had the same, horrible morning sickness. Once I'd found out there was no heartbeat the doctor prescribed me strong anti sickness meds (ones you can't usually take during pregnancy, I was already on cyclezine) and they took the edge off a bit, but the only thing that worked was when I had surgical management and the pregnancy was over. The relief from sickness came as soon as I woke up from the anaesthetic. It's so horrible feeling so sick and knowing it's all for nothing xx

I don't have any advice OP but couldn't read and run. I'm so sorry you are going through this.
