6 weeks passing clots

Last Thursday at exactly 6 weeks I had a lot of pain & bleeding (with clots) and assumed I miscarried. I have since been in for a couple of HCG blood tests and it’s doubling every time, my levels are very good. I am getting a faint second line on pregnancy dip tests too. This morning I had the exact same thing.. pain & bleeding with clots. I’m being told I’m pregnant but I can’t understand how on earth it’s possible. I’m on blood thinner injections for the first time ever and worried it’s causing this? Has anyone had anything similar? I had got my head around a miscarriage so I won’t be surprised if it is.. but my nurse says I’m ‘ok’!

You need a scan.

My pregnancy tests are still giving strong positives and I still have all the pregnancy symptoms including extreme nausea and my babies heart stopped last week. I'm at home waiting to physically miscarry.

Not saying that to scare you but you need a scan to know what's actually going on. How to they not know it's ectopic?

What clinic is it?

Are early pregnancy unit not scanning you?

You need to get in touch with your GP/midwife and get a scan done at the hospital. If you're miscarrying and it's incomplete then you're at risk of sepsis.
It does take a while for HCG levels to drop enough to give negative pregnancy tests (that happened to me).
It could be all fine and you'll go on to have a healthy pregnancy but the sound of clots is concerning

It’s ok I had a missed miscarriage at 10 weeks before so I know the feeling. This is completely different. I’m being told it wouldn’t be an empty sac or ectopic as my HCG keeps doubling, I’ve got really good levels apparently. We had IVF private in Northampton and the earliest they can scan is Tuesday. I don’t know if I have an epu round me.. I’m not even 7 weeks so not sure what they’d be able to see x

I don’t have a midwife but my IVF clinic are monitoring me - the HCG are from blood tests not urine, which the nurse has said is the most accurate. Yeah I had spotting which was ok.. but the clots have worried me x

Can you book a private scan? You need to be checked. Your are enough along to be able to see.
