Bfp on clear blue digital bfn rapid result.

Hey

I have feel a little under the weather for a couple of days. I’ve had period pains and feeling sick. Woke up this morning at 2 am and was sick just the once, nausea all the time and I’ve been exhausted yesterday and today. Actually slept today from 10 am till 3pm which isn’t good with a 12
month old but luckily my husband doesn’t start work till 2pm at which point baby was asleep too. I also started bleeding today too and it just feels like my period so I don’t even no why I did a digital but funnily enough it came up pregnant 1-2. Massive shock. We’ve been trying not trying as our little boy was IVF. I did a clear blue rapid result which looked negative but now it’s dried I can see the faintest line in certain light. Any help would be appreciated I thought digitalis were less sensitive

If the clear blue appeared once dry and out of the time limit discount it - it could be an evaporation line. Have you got any red dye tests? They tend to have fewer false positives. How heavy is the bleeding? The other possibility is that you were pregnant but are now sadly miscarrying. Hugs

Thank you for the reply. I’ve looked at the leaflet the digital can be used up to 6 days and the rapid results from day of missed period. The digital was positive. The bleeding is just spotting like the first day of my period and the aches and pains to go with it. I have some FRER coming tomorrow xx

Well that's definitely a positive but your other symptoms sound like it's going to be a chemical pregnancy sadly. Give it a few days and test again. If it's getting darker then the pregnancy is hopefully progressing x

Thank you for your reply. I’ve had chemical pregnancy’s before and usually my lines get lighter and negative by the time I start bleeding and my symptoms disappear which they haven’t . I’ve also had an ectopic pregnancy too which is what I’m concerned about although it doesn’t feel like that either. I rang EPU I have to go in tomorrow for an HCG test

ps after all the miscarriages and ectopic we actually have our 12 month old boy through IVF xx
