What does this mean?

Been trying to conceive for months.
I am 5 days before my period due.
decided to do a clear blue 6 days early detection test. Left it for 5 minutes and came back to this, what do we all think? I don’t want to get my hopes up

That looks like a dye run to me, and should be discarded.

Can you get a pink dye test, and wait a couple of days?

I did think this! I just thought you should discard after 10 minutes? Confused as to why the dye ran so soon!

Unfortunately it can just happen. I would avoid these tests in general as they are notorious for evap’s that look like positives! X

I would wait a few more days and retest

Yep, the tests are expensive.
It's better if you can hold off till you've missed a period as then you'll get a proper obvious line if you are pregnant and you'll know for sure.
Otherwise you'll spend a fortune on 'is it, isn't it' and you'll drive yourself mad (I speak from personal experience!)
