Hi all hope you’re all good xx
Just looking for some advice, I’m 32 weeks and was looking to start raspberry leaf tea, I’ve got both the tea from H&B and the capsules off Amazon. How many of both should I be taking ??
and is there any other tricks to help with labour or bring on labour ( to start after 37 weeks )
im due to have an ELCS at 40 weeks due to a prev c section and risks with going over. So I really really want to try for a VBAC. Any and all tips and tricks would be appreciated xxx

Hey 👋 I’m not sure about the capsules from amazon are they safe in pregnancy?

Sex is the only one that’s clinically proven to help induce labour. Otherwise it’s things like:
walking
yoga
bouncing on the ball
walking sideways up the stairs or on a kerb
hot curry
dancing
somatic movement
swimming
massage
reflexology
accupuncture

hope you get your vbac 🤍

I did dates and, whilst I ultimately ended up with an emergency section, the midwives were impressed by how quickly I was progressing.
I was also comfortable enough throughout to just chat and eat dinner.

Last 4 weeks of pregnancy I took raspberry leaf capsules from Holland and Barrett. Can't remember dose but I think it was 1 twice a day. Didn't mess about with the tea. My midwife recommended them, as did a couple of friends. Everyone I know who took it had good, progressive labours. My first labour lasted 6.5hrs, the second 2.5hrs and both a few days early. I really, really think it can work amazingly and is well worth a try!

Two teabags is a therapeutic dose if you can find them.
