Movements, second pregnancy, anterior placenta

When did you feel your first movements if a) it was not your first pregnancy and b) you had an anterior placenta? I'm 17 weeks with my second and everyone keeps asking me if I've felt him move yet (which I haven't) - I thought this was normal (felt my DS from about 18 weeks) but apparently you feel subsequent babies earlier? My midwife said I will probably feel flutters from 15 weeks! I have an anterior placenta this time so maybe that's it but wondering what other people's experiences were...

Not a second pregnancy but my first I had an anterior placenta and felt nothing till 22 weeks+
At the 20 week scan my baby was like a whirling dervish in there, spinning around (so much so they couldn't get all the measurements they needed and I had to go back a week later), but I couldn't feel a thing. I found that mind blowing!
They do say second pregnancy you generally feel something earlier but the anterior placenta can definitely delay it. I don't think you need to be concerned at 17 weeks as still early.

Second pregnancy, anterior placenta. Only started feeling movements a couple of weeks ago at nearly 21 weeks! I'm 23 weeks tomorrow and she still has very quiet days but I do feel movement.
My son also had anterior placenta and was feeling movements from 19 weeks.

Also second pregnancy, anterior placenta, 16w. The midwife said it could take as long as 24 weeks. Sometimes I feel like I can feel movement but it's hard to say.

Hello! That's me - second pregnancy, anterior placenta - I'm 21 weeks tomorrow and I've felt maybe one movement a day for about a week or so. Now though I'm starting to get more than that, it definitely takes longer when it's anterior so don't worry x

I had anterior placentas for both of mine. Somewhere close to 20 weeks for me, I think. It might have been earlier the first but he also moved around A LOT.

24w and second pregnancy anterior have very little moments some days, 3 days out of the 7 a week are very quiet , first pregnancy completely different

Amazing, thanks everyone! Confirmed my suspicions. I wasn't concerned exactly but it helps to know no movements is normal at this gestation.
