I am trying to work out my due date if i am pg..(i am 4 days over af which is long for me been ttc for 7 mths and scared to test)

Why is it on some they ask cycle length and others they dont? because it gives 2 complete different dates...

if i do the one without cycle imput Due date is 17 dec and if i use cycle imput (34 cd) i get the 24 dec eek!

I have 2 dds age 7 & 8 1/2 so its been a long time since i was last pg and cant remember how it was worked out. Can anyone help? If i am pg i dont want to see my gp just yet as i feel jinxed the last time i got my gp to confirm pg i started mc almost same day so i just want to wait and hope the bean sticks first.

go on do a test...
don't know the answer to your question sorry!

In lots of ways it is a bit random, normal term is between 37 weeks and 42 weeks from your last period. But because some people have long cycles (me 32 days) it just doesn't work that way. It's also entirely arbitrary. In France 42 weeks is normal (poor buggers) in the US 39 is considered normal, we seem to have settled on 40 for no real reason.

Also if you have long cycles it doesn't mean you ovulate in the middle of them so you can conceive early in your cycle and not realise for a really long time - I conceived DD on day nine of a 32 day cycle so by the time I twigged I was already into my fifth week of pregnancy .

Don't worry, do the test. What will be will be and good luck

Hurrah - hopefully you'll be mumof3bunnies soon then

BTW I miscarried just before I conceived this one (25 weeks so far) and I was really worried too but I don't know, it just felt different this time and he is absolutely fine.

Hope it works out for you!

Thanks all x

I still haven't got up the courage to get a test i might try 2mrw.. i am finding it really hard to get over taking this step silly i know....i am praying af stays away.

I took the dog to the vet this afternoon and while we were sitting i could hear a lady crying her cat was being put to sleep when they walked out with the cat in a towel i was in floods of tears and could barely talk when dd was asking what happend...i think i am just finding this all so emotional and i haven't told my dp yet as i dont want him to go though the worry just yet either.

Anyway hey ho sorry to bore you all with my problems..but i will have the good grace to let you all know the outcome either or!
