Vaping partner

My partner has been vaping for many years, he has tried to pick the 'cleaner' of the vapes which has less toxic chemicals in it and is odourless. We have 2 children already but he has always travelled a lot with work which is a very high stress job. Now in this pregnancy I'm around him more than the others as travel is a little less. I keep telling him to vape outside and he obliges most of the time but I catch him often doing it in the home. It stresses me out a lot. I'm worried about the second hand vape smoke and for our already children and this child to be. I've put air filters all around the home. I just want to know if any women have had similarities in that their partner vapes and their babies have been ok. Is it such a big deal? I'm also worried about him holding the baby once it's born. Any advice?

My husband used to smoke and vape. He stopped smoking when I was 6 months pregnant and only vapes a few times a day but never in the house or around our DD. Even when he vapes, he'll wash up and change his clothes before holding our DD. I kept telling him about how his smoking will affect our DD - he has promised to stop vaping soon as well.

I think we were both scared of SIDs because he was a chain smoker. I'll be honest, it took a lot of effort to explain the consequences to my husband. I think he finally realised when DD's GP told him.

@Pinksoda08 SIDs is my biggest worry as well :( I've really tried to get him to understand and I think he does know deep inside but unfortunately the addiction is overpowering. It also doesn't help that he travels often so when he's away there's nothing to stop him so we can't get into a routine. Maybe a professional telling him would be more effective
