stitches

hi im almost 4 weeks postpartum. i had a few stitches which have dissolved apart from 1. it looks like the knot of the stitch is starting to stick under my skin. do i need to see a doctor about this ?

Your midwife can check your stitches, or yes you can ask your GP or practice nurse to take a look. Congrats on your new baby!

thank you lovely !! it looks all fine and is feeling well. when i google it, it says the stitch will eventually dissolve even if it gets stuck under the skin. ill ask my doctor to look at the 6 week check if its still not gone 😊
