Currently 39+3 weeks, all day yesterday I had a funny feeling that something was happening, DH and I went shopping and baby was super wriggly and hurting me all the way round Tesco. By late afternoon I felt even weirder and was having some odd tightening and back pains, despite having constipation lately I had to keep going to the toilet and felt a lot of pressure in my bum. Tightenings started to hurt a bit and started coming more often although no pattern, this continues until 3 in the bloody morning where I had to remind myself to relax and breathe through them. Went to bed to get some sleep have now woken up to...... nothing. Absolutely bloody nothing. I could cry. With all my others labour just started and progressed, none of this start stop rubbish. Sorry I'm sulking 😂 I want some chocolate......

Have some chocolate, get a cheesy film on, look at some baby pics of your other kids and hope it starts up again for real later 😉
Good luck it's rubbish x

You might have started early labour and be 2-3 cms dilated. So pain might not have been for completely nothing. When is your next midwife appointment? Ask her to check.

@Sab1981 unfortunately not til I'm 41 weeks so unless it's starts again it's just that waiting game of overthinking every little ache or twinge 😖
