Pressure feeling down below 35+3

I'm 35+3 and have a feeling of pressure down below it's not extreme but I can tell there is some pressure there and I've noticed I am peeing more as it feels like what I can only describe as baby resting on my bladder 😂

Also every time he moves I get a shooting pain down below in what feels like my cervix? Is this normal or.. I'm completely none the wiser as this is my first baby. Baby is head down however I'm not sure if he has started to engage yet or not ☺️

Sounds like baby is engaged, or getting there - I'm 35+6 today and have had something similar this week, pressure in my pelvis/behind my pubic bone (not painful but noticeable when I'm moving around), needing to pee more often and just generally feeling 'heavier'. Had my 36 week midwife appointment this morning and she said baby's head is 3/5 engaged.

It sounds a lot like the baby's head is engaging, which is normal around 36 weeks for a first baby.
You will be peeing a lot between now and when the baby is born 😂
