Fetal heart rate

I'm incredibly fortunate to be 7 weeks pregnant with our miracle baby- after 7 years TTC and 2 failed rounds of IVF. We had a scan today and the average fetal heart rate was 115bpm. The sonographer wasn't very reassuring and just said 'it's within normal parameters'. It feels a bit low to me for 7 weeks? Am I panicking about nothing or is it something to be concerned about?

Thanks in advance from a very anxious first time pregnant Mum!

I believe anything over 110 is within range and it probably depends when the heartbeat started its its only just estbalished its well within range bean needs time to grow also it will be different at different times of day op 😍

Different at different times of day? Wow, I didn't know that. We saw a heartbeat on Monday but it wasn't measured (had some bleeding so got a scan to make sure I wasn't miscarrying). I just feel like I'm waiting for it all to be taken away from us!! Thanks so much for replying. Waiting for our 12 PM eek scan is going to be torture I think!

It’s within normal and somebody has to be the lower end. I wouldn’t worry. Congratulations and all the best for a healthy pregnancy and baby

If it helps, I’m 35 weeks and I’ve never been told the feral heart rate! I really wouldnt worry, it’s a good sign it’s there

yes all depends last time you ate / drank how long you have been awake etc I only know this as I got a little hung up on heartbeats after a morning scan heartbeat was sitting at 122 when a few days earlier it was higher nd EPU gave me the explanation...week later HB had jumped to 162! try not to panic x

Completely normal

There is quite a broad range at this stage.

I was the other way, felt like it was too high (172 at 8+2) and my sonographer didn't say much either. It's there and it's in range, I don't think they'll go beyond that at such an early stage.

I'd they were concerned about anything you'd know

Thanks so much everyone. I feel like everything at this early stage is so flexible and if someone doesn't actively say to me 'your baby is absolutely fine' then I find something to worry about. I'm driving DH mad lol. I really appreciate all of your responses!
