Having a little panic as I just found out I am pregnant again (super exciting)! But what I’m not excited about is my 1 1/2 year old LO starting nursery as I’m already freaking out about getting sick my whole pregnancy as I’ve been warned LO will be consistently poorly for the first year.
Has anyone been through this? Can anyone offer any advice?

Congrats. Kids catch bugs from nursery that's normal, it doesn't mean you'll fall suck unless you already have a compromised immune system. This is the scenario for a lot of people. Don't overthink it.

@vladimirVsvolodymr thank you! Just everyone I know with little ones said the whole house comes down with whatever LO gets didn’t know if this was a little dangerous in pregnancy.

You’ll be fine. It’s just colds and normal illnesses that you will have already have a lifetime of immunity to.

I think consistently poorly for the first year is a bit of an exaggeration. The first winter yes I would expect some illnesses but it will most likely just be lots of runny noses etc. Nothing to worry about.

Have you had chickenpox before? If you haven’t that’s the only one you need to be cautious about. If you’ve had it before it’s fine, and most other common childhood illness are fine in pregnancy.
