Hi everyone, third pregnancy and baby here so am quite used to all pains pregnancy related but genuinely never had any period type pains with my other two babies that haven’t been accompanied by tightenings and therefore it being the early stages of labour, even if that did last for days with my first 😒 Both births have been c sections and this one will be too, it’s booked for in a weeks time but I’m terrified I’ll go in to labour before then.

Has anybody had this before. It’s definite period type pain but absolutely no tightening to accompany it at all and it doesn’t come and go it’s almost just always there for an hour or two and then disappears.

Yes had this for 2 weeks with baby number 4. Full labour took an hour and a half, he was nearly born in the car.

Oh gosh! Hopefully I don’t go in to labour before my c section as the thought terrifies me after a very traumatic labour with my first. Was it every night for you? And without your belly tightening too?

I had this, went into the hospital and they told me I wasn't in labour. I was put on a Ward and I gave birth 4 hours later with surprised patients in beds next to me and panicking nurses. 3 rd baby ! They come quick the more you have. Trust yourself as much as the dr's !

I had this on and off for at least a week (may well have been two tbh, I can't remember too well) before my second labour, when they eventually turned into clear contractions.
