Hi

my DS and I have been up in the night with food poisoning. I’ve also had diarrhoea. This morning, I’ve been having awful stomach cramps but no more sickness.

it may just be were I haven’t eaten, but should I be concerned or get checked? Anyone been in a similar situation? X

I'm in a similar situation. I'm 7 weeks and my husband and I have both been up through the night being sick. Have had diarrhoea all today and have hardly left my bed. Haven't been sick since this morning though.
Not sure if it's something we've eaten or a tummy bug, as a friend i saw Saturday mentioned her and her daughter have had similar symptoms over last few days.
If you don't eat for a day then that's not the end of the world as long as you ensure you stay hydrated.
However, I'd say if you're worried at all there is no harm in calling GP / 111 to get their advice.
Is it definitely food poisoning or do you think it could be a tummy bug?
I think it can be fairly common in early pregnancy as your immune system is lowered.
Trust your instinct though and do call GP if you're concerned
